I found this on the net.
This is a rather close call don't you think?
Think he was thankful?
I hope so.
There is a all-too-often response to this, "Boy, was he lucky!" Personally I feel he is an excellent pilot, but God had mercy on him, too.
Sorry for the cussing in the audio.

Thank You
Thanksgiving Day
Are we mindful and truly thankful for all that God has given us?
This song is done by The Gordons.
Here is what they say:
Thank You Lord
Gary Gordon
Roberta: "Gary wrote this because we are mindful each day to be thankful to the Lord. He made the whole thing possible, so we just thanked him as an ending."
Gary: "My prayer, our prayer of thanks for each day. We're grateful for our talents and thank God for the chance to share our music with others."
You need to stop by their site and buy an album or two.

Hard To Believe?
Men tell me sometimes they would find it very difficult to believe in a God who had prepared such a place as the lake of fire for His creatures. He never did it! He prepared that awful place for 'the devil and angels.' If you go there, you will go there against the pleadings of God. You will go past the cross to get there; you will go there over the dead body of God's Son...You do not have to do anything bad to go there; just keep neglecting to be saved; that is all

Unchanging God in our Changing Times
An unchanging God in our changing times
A letter from Mike Gendron
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
For the past several months we have been praying that God would have mercy on our country and give us what we need and not what we deserve. We now know that we have been given what we deserve. But let us not lose hope, "for our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Phil. 3:20).
"Let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained…For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things" (Phil. 3:16-19).
Remember that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change (Psalm 46:1-2).
As a shadow of spiritual darkness continues to creep across our country, we must recognize the great opportunity we have as Christians to reflect the glorious light of our Savior. He is still our King and He has declared victory over the devil and his schemes. So let us be encouraged:
"The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked goes out" (Prov. 13:17).
Remember Paul’s exhortation,
"Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm" (Eph. 6:10-13).
Let us remember what children of the King are called to be! "You are the salt of the earth…You are the light of the world…Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Mat. 5:13-16).
"In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?" (Psalm 56:4)

Hard Times Ahead?
This is a drawing of George Washington praying.
If you are a Bible believing Christian living in the United States and have not been praying yet, you better start. Times may get very rough for us.
Who, then, can separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble do it, or hardship or persecution or hunger or poverty or danger or death? (Romans 8:35)
"Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires; the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them! "Happy are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you because you are my followers. Be happy and glad, for a great reward is kept for you in heaven. This is how the prophets who lived before you were persecuted. (Matthew 5:10-12)
They are for you, who through faith are kept safe by God's power for the salvation which is ready to be revealed at the end of time. Be glad about this, even though it may now be necessary for you to be sad for a while because of the many kinds of trials you suffer. Their purpose is to prove that your faith is genuine. Even gold, which can be destroyed, is tested by fire; and so your faith, which is much more precious than gold, must also be tested, so that it may endure. Then you will receive praise and glory and honor on the Day when Jesus Christ is revealed. (1 Peter 1:5-7)

Where Have You Been?
Look at the first picture of feet. You can tell some things about these feet. They have not been in the mud, nor bare feet working outside. They are clean.
Now look at these feet. Even though they are still in the mud, if you just saw them on the grass or on a sidewalk, you would know they have been in the mud.
Lastly, look at these feet. They are working feet. The person is barefoot and working in a shop.
You can tell a lot about people by their feet.
God can tell a lot about your heart, your soul, your mind in the same way. Has it been honoring to Him or dishonoring? Doing what He wants or what is displeasing to Him, as lying, cheating, or hating? God knows these things just like we know something about where a person has been by their feet.
