If your day is rotten and burdensome, this might be a comfort to you, as it was to me.
Remember, I pray, that You have made me like clay. And will You turn me into dust again? (Job 10:9)
From "Handfuls On Purpose"
Then it is not for the clay to resist the wonder working hand of the Divine Potter. He will not reduce the clay to dust; the potter cannot fashion by dust into a useful vessel. When we have been brought low by the weight of affliction, so low that we feel as if we had been brought back to that condition of soul in which we were at first when God, by His Spirit, began to operate upon us. Let us believe that His purpose is to make us into "another vessel" more meet for His service, or in other words, when God's vessels are reduced again to clay it is that they might be refashioned for higher and more honorable work. Job's latter days is an evidence of this.
Who knows what work God will do to and through us.
